The Community Action Fund fights to protect and expand access to family planning services and ensure reproductive freedom for everyone. We accomplish this through effective leadership in the areas of issue education, grassroots advocacy, public policy, legislation, and electoral politics as they relate to family planning and reproductive choice. WHAT THE COMMUNITY ACTION FUND DOES
  • Carefully monitors and analyzes new and pending legislation that has the potential to impact the mission of Planned Parenthood
  • Encourages supporters to participate in letter writing campaigns, action alerts, phone calls, educational campaigns, and lobby visits with legislators
  • Organizes annual Capitol Day in Sacramento, CA
  • Protects the mission of Planned Parenthood through lobby related efforts and electoral activities

We provide comprehensive, honest sex education and health information, which enable you to make responsible and informed choices.

Locally, we provide comprehensive reproductive health care services, cutting edge health education, and cancer screenings for low to no cost. Last year we saw over 56,000 patients and in one year can make over 31,000 education contacts.

PPOSBC is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization which provides health care services, education and advocacy in Orange and San Bernardino counties.
